Filmed during my first week of the Coronavirus 2020 sheltering at home practice, this video addresses what so many people have expressed to me is of continuing concern – insomnia. Whether experienced as tossing and turning, inability to fall asleep or stay asleep, or having long periods of wakefulness in the wee hours of the morning, insomnia can be greatly helped through sound healing. From a Chinese medicine perspective, insomnia commonly occurs when a person’s heart energy is out of balance due to excess stress, worry, anxiety, or any other form of fear. To help you feel calmer and alleviate concern and overthinking, I will first teach you a deep belly breathing technique in this presentation – and then I’ll play six crystal bowls with the pure intention of helping you to feel more grounded and centered and peaceful.
