2020 COVR Visionary Awards
Risk your heart and realize, if it cracks open, then Leonard Cohen would simply say that’s how the light gets in.
It was in 2013 that my own heart opened wide to the light, when my beloved Gregory Lawrence Hagin died. Leaving me stunned in a sudden and unexpected silence. The kind of desperate quiet that screams, “What next?”.
I don’t often speak of that time in my life, preferring instead to share from the light and insights that my heart’s own fracturing shone through me. Which urged me toward my craziest dream of all . . . that of writing a novel. A book I hoped would uplift and inspire and empower others.
Mind you, I had no idea how to do this thing. I felt like I was half Frodo and half Dory – believing that somehow I might make it to Mordor. If I could just keep swimming.
Truly, by the grace of God and the support of Absolute Love Publishing, the romantic high fantasy “Atlantis Writhing” was born. And it’s this consciously created work – my opened heart’s deepest offering of the purest, most loving intention I know how to hold – that has been nominated for Best Visionary Fiction Work in the COVR 2020 Visionary Awards.
If the words gifted to me speak to you, then I humbly ask you to vote for “Atlantis Writhing” today. Voting ends May 15th, and you can vote via the instructions and links below:
